Moss Guide – Carol Rose GoldenEagle
Join two young cousins on an adventure through the forest in this beautifully illustrated picture book inspired by Indigenous knowledge and traditional teachings. When the children become lost in the bush, they remember their Mooshum’s (grandfather’s) advice about using moss growing on the north side of trees to find their way home. Through their journey, readers discover the importance of respecting nature, learning from the land, and listening to the wisdom passed down by Elders. A heartwarming story celebrating Indigenous teachings, family connections, and the natural world.
